InstantAtlas™

InstantAtlas integration

InstantAtlas dynamic reports are pre-defined views, packed with features including point and area maps, map panning and zooming, dynamic links between charts, tables, maps and legends, hotlinks to external web pages. Read more about the Templates you use to create dynamic reports.

Why is it easy to integrate dynamic reports?

Dynamic reports read data in XML format. This makes it easy for you to integrate dynamic reports with existing applications and products that can produce data in XML format. Read more about the InstantAtlas XML Schema

The layout and style of dynamic reports are defined in XML configuration files and standard web cascading style sheets. This makes it easy to integrate the look and feel of dynamic reports with your, or your clients', existing interface style. You manipulate the configuration files and stylesheets using the Designer in InstantAtlas desktop. Read more about InstantAtlas desktop.

Dynamic reports exist as stand-alone web pages with embedded maps or as server-driven pages, using Spatial Server, where the maps are delivered on-the-fly in response to user requests. Spatial Server offers the additional benefits of allowing you to store your spatial data in Microsoft SQL Server and providing connections to existing GIS infrastructure.
